What is a Pesticide?
American Samoa Code Annotated A.S.C.A. 24.1202 (16) Pesticide means any substance or mixture of substances intended for preventing, destroying, repelling, or mitigating any pest; and any substance or mixture of substances intended for use a plant regulator, defoliant or desiccant.
The role of the Pesticide Branch is to enforce the pesticide regulations on the importation, distribution, storage, sale, usage, and disposal of pesticides.
